Film Review: The Intern Movie – An Inspiring Family Movie!

So Friday night finally arrived and you know what that means, yes it was finally the end of the week and for most people, it was movie night!

Now as you may already know, the film starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway “The Intern” was finally on blu-ray and dvd so I decided to pick up a copy of the blu-ray edition and watched it with the family. The film was about a 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway).

After watching this film I must say that I was extremely amazed by how excellent the film was. The Intern had a great storyline and was full of comedy, emotion and was absolutely brilliant. The film had a great cast who I think all performed well and the big stars of the film Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway’s performances were just beyond amazing, it was a whole new mixture of two great people that went well together.

In my opinion I think everyone should see the Intern film because you can actually learn a lot from both characters in the film as well as be inspired by the work which the characters do and the environment which they live in.

I think that this was by far one of the best films of 2015 and it absolutely deserves an Academy award because it truly is a family movie that not only is fun to watch but also inspires you at the same time.

I would really love to see a sequel to The Intern or another film with Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway teaming up again on the big screen.

What did you guys think of the film? Comment below.
